Community Lattice was retained by the City of Austin Brownfields Revitalization Office to conduct market, demographic, and environmental research for identifying brownfield sites, priority projects, and future target areas to focus federal resources on. By compiling and analyzing big data from publicly available sources, we were able to gather critical information to support the city’s existing Revolving Loan Fund program and future grant applications. Recently, Community Lattice completed a Brownfields Program Framework and 2022-2027 Strategic Plan to support and encourage the redevelopment of brownfields in Austin through a synergistic approach that addresses environmental concerns while advancing revitalization initiatives designed to benefit disadvantaged communities.
