Community Lattice was contracted by the Buffalo Bayou Partnership to support the development of 200+ acres of new park space as part of the East Sector Master Plan for Buffalo Bayou Park. Using federal, state, and local environmental records, we screened properties to identify potential environmental challenges, risk management strategies, and opportunities for improving environmental conditions through land acquisition and development, like bank stabilization adjacent to solid waste disposal sites, tree planting for phyto-stabilization of contaminants in soil and groundwater on former industrial sites, etc.
